How do I find the best itinerary that full suits to my desires and needs

What do I need to do??
1. Select ‘Continent’
2. Filter by ‘Countries’, Your ‘Must visit places’ or by ‘Region’
3. Select an itinerary from the list

   What do I need to know?
Finding your best itinerary for your motorhome trip is easy.
first, select the continent you wish to travel. I choose united state for example.
The next screen will present you all itineraries within the selected continent plus some filtering options.
You can search for the trip, fit you the best, by adding places to your bucket list, which you consider as a must visit destinations Rv-Planet system will show you only the relevant results that fit your filters.
For Example: If you choose the Grand Canyon Visitor Center as one of your ‘must do’, you will get suggestions for trips that include the Grand Canyon Visitor Center.
You can add or remove ‘Must-visit’ destinations to your bucket list as much as you want. So, the more ‘Must-visit’ destinations you add, the more accurate results will get.
You can also select in which countries you wish your trip route will pass. or you just explore all RV trip routes within a defined region.
Then, you can sort trip routes by a few filters:
a roundtrip or a one-way route.
best match for your bucket list.
by trip duration, driving distance, or by price.
In the bread camp section, you can find all the Criteria you have selected
The itinerary list might be long, you can mark your favorites itineraries by marking the heart icon.

How to explore the selected itinerary, inquiring rout and attractions on it

1. Select an itinerary from list
2. Click ‘Explore’
3. Navigate between the ‘Trip Route’, ‘Attraction summery’ and ‘Video gallery’ tabs

Select one trip route by clicking on it or by using the next / previous arrows. By extending the route name box you will get more details. Now you can take a look at the itinerary map. By clicking on each mark on the map you can see more details about each place You can also overview the main attractions along the way, and a video gallery of the main places. If you are happy with the selected route, click on the try button, this will allow you some free modifications before purchasing.

How to add a ‘things to do’ to my bucket list?

1. Click the Attractions tab
2. Type on the textbox the name of your favorite spot and choose from the options

-Note: You can add or remove spots as much as you want.

While exploring for a new trip route, you can filter by adding ‘must do’ places to your bucket list. This will filter the routes according to your preferences. Just start typing a place name and choose your favorite one. The results are based on the list of the most popular places, according to our experience. For example, you wish to visit three places on your routes, such as the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, Zion National Park, and the Bryce Canyon National Park. Now you can easily see that the Phoenix to Las Vegas route is including all three spots. What is important for you to know? First, In many cases, in the surrounding area, there are many attraction ones near the other. It is quite likely that the route of the trip will pass close to the place you want to visit, not really at an exact point, but at a nearby point with another name. Therefore, it is also important to look at the route on the map. Second, In case the exact place you wish to visit is not included in the route, but the route is passing nearby, you can always add this spot into your route, or alternatively, replace one of the route spots with the one you like:

How to select my arrival airport

1. Click the ‘Confirm or replace arrival Airport’ 
2. Select ‘Confirm as arrival Airport’ or ‘Replace this Airport’
3. Select yore arrival Airport from the list
4. Click ‘Apply’
  
   -Once you choose your favorite RV trip, the first place in the trip will be an Airport we have selected for you as default.
  -Naturally, as we don’t know yet on which Airport you will land, we are selecting by default one of the main airports in the area.
-You would easily see the Red note appears on the default airport says: ‘confirm or replace arrival Airport’. By clicking on this note you can choose to confirm this is your actually landing Airport or to select the replace option. If you do choose to replace your arrival airport, you will shift to a map screen with all the airport in this area.
  -Select from the list the correct airport and click ‘apply’ Incase you can’t find your arriving airport on the list, try first to check on google if this airport might be called in a different name.
  For Example: New York Airport is known as John F. Kennedy Airport or just JFK.
-If you still cant find it, try to increase the search radius, your airport might be outside the searching radius. If the airports list is to long, you can type the Airport name on the search box
-Incase all the above doesn’t help, please contact us.

How to select my RV Rental pickup location

1.Click the ‘Choose your arrival rental station’
2. Select a rental center from list
3. Click ‘Apply’
4. For searching an address or a place name by google maps, shift the toggle near the search box from RV to Google search and type the place name ant type in the search box

Similarly to the choosing process your arrival airport, you will be requested to select your rental center where you are picking up your rented motorhome. As we don’t know yet where will you pickup your RV, the system default is picking up in the Airport where you have landed in. Here again, by clicking on the ‘Choose your arriving rental station’ button. By clicking on this note you will shift to a map screen with all the main Motorhome rental centers in this area. Select from the list the correct pickup rental station and click ‘apply’ Incase you can’t find your RV Pickup rental station, or in a case you are rent a motorhome from a privet person, you can search the place name or by the RV rental address by google maps. All you need to do is to shift the toggle near the search box from RV to Google search and then type the place name or the RV rental location name. One you find it, click on the place box and drug it into your trip timeline in the button of the screen.

How to add a ‘New Spot’ into my Route

1. Click the ‘place box’ or click on the place pin on themap where you wish to add a place before or after it.
2.Click the green Plus icon n the top left.
3. Select the type of spot you are looking for. ‘Attractions’ or ‘RV services’
4. Filter the activity type that fits you the best Search the list Chose ‘Before or After’ toggle. The green arrow indicator will assist you
5. Click ‘+Add’
Alternatively, you can drag and drop the box  to any place on the timeline
6. For searching an address or a place name by google maps, shift the toggle next to the search box from RV to Google search and type the place name.
Once you have found your favorite spot, Click on the ‘+Add’ button Chose ‘Before or After’ toggle or just drag and drop the box  to any place on the timeline

Adding new spots into your itinerary is easy. First, select the spot on your route where you are wishing to add the new spot before or after it. Then, click on the green plus icon. Please pay attention, the green plus icon will be invalid unless you have selected a spot on your route. First, select the Radius you want to search at. It makes no sense to search within a too large radius. Now, select the type of spots you are searching for. In-case you are looking for things to do, then select the attractions. In-case you are looking for a campground, or other motorhome services, select the RV services. Now, search the list or click the icon on the map, and find your favorite one. Once you are happy with your selection, select the position of the toggle before or after. The green arrow on the timeline will indicate you better. Click Add or just drag and drop the spot box to the correct position on your timeline. What is important for you to know? In-case you are not finding a specific spot you are looking-for, you can go to the search box on top, shift the toggle to ‘G’ [Google], and type on the search box the place name or address. For example, I am searching for El Capitan state beach. Then I am dragging the spot box into the timeline. For your convenience, we have included a shortcut to the most popular searches such as RV parks, Fuel stations, and supermarkets.

How to add ‘Sub-Activity’ into the place along the timeline

1. Select a place where you want to add Sub-Activity
2. Click the Three dots menu
3. Click the ‘Add Activity’
4. Select a place you want to add from list
5. Click on the ‘Add Activity’

The term ‘Sub-Activity’, is a name describing an Activity that is done within a time frame of another place we are staying.
For example, we arrived at the RV park where we are intending to camp from evening until the next morning. At a certain time, we go out to a restaurant, and after a great meal, we return to the campground.
Adding a Sub-Activity into the timeline is simple just as adding a new spot into your route.
First, Select a place where you want to add Sub-Activity. Then, click on the three dots menu [also known as Kebab menu].
Select the add activity option.
Now, select your favorite spot from the list.
What is important for you to know? -You can add a few activities as much as you want. -You can position the sub-activity on the correct time frame under the main spot. -When shortening the duration of the main spot, the total duration of the Sub-Activities – including the breaks between them, cannot exceed the duration of the main spot.

How to replace ‘Attractions’ or ‘Sub-Activity’ on my trip

In case you want to replace one of the attractions along the route:
1. Click the ‘three dots’  menu
 2. Click on ‘Replace’   
3. Search the list of attractions available or type the attraction name on the search box.
4.Click ‘Apply’ 

In-case you are not happy of one or more visiting spots along the route, replacing with another spot is very simple. Click the three dots menu and select the replace option. Now, select your favorite spot from the list and click apply. In-case you can’t find on the list a spot satisfying you, go to the search box on top, shift the toggle to G and search for other spots on google. When you are happy with your selection, click apply. Things you have to know:
-Define your searching radius for a reasonable search area. -for easy selection, disable the activity types you are not interested at

How to remove ‘Attractions’ or ‘Sub-Activity’ from route

1. Click Action
2. select ‘remove’ ( Bin Icon)
3. Confirm Yes on validation popup screen

– You will always be able to reload this place again in the future using the ‘Add Attraction’procedure
– In case you have delete an Attraction by mistake, use the Undo / redo arrows

How to add a personal Note for a road or on Attractions

On each Attraction,  Sub-Activity, or a road section, you can add or modify your personal note. 
1. Click on the envelope icon and type your notes.

In order to add / modify notes just place your cursor in the correct place and type your note.  

We recommend you to write notes such as:
– A person’s name you have talked regarding your reservation on this place
– Interesting information you have collected on the web regarding this Attraction.
– Tours starting / ending time
– A person’s name you have met and become a friend in this place
– Any information you find helpful (even: ‘we will stop here for 1 hour for rest….’)

Many attractions on our system has preload  ‘Author’s note’ which means we have placed a note for you including important recommendations, instructions or suggestions. 
-If a note is already preloaded then the envelope icon will not appear, but you can still add and edit your personal memos.
You can also delete the ‘Author’s note’ but please be cautious!, once you have deleted a note the only way to restore it is to reset your trip to it’s starting position. We are strongly recommended, before you are deleting a note, copy it to your clipboard, just in case you would like to reuse it.

How to manage my bookings and costs on each Attraction

1. Extend the Attraction or Sub-Activity by clicking the small arrow on the top left of it’s section.
While it’s open, you will find the fields where you can enter your total cost of this attraction and your booking reference number
Tip: don’t forget to calculate additional costs such as: parking/ taxi / souvenirs 🙂

How to book or send request for availability to the RV park / Campground ?

More and more campgrounds are moving to online booking system.
But, still, as of today, the majority of campgrounds in the world are still get bookings only by email or by phone.
So, for the campgrounds that gets online bookings, you will get a ‘Book Now’ button and you can book immediately online.
For all other campgrounds, you will find a ‘Availability Request’ button.
1. Click the ‘Availability Request’ button
2. On the booking request form, read and verify all details are correct.
Pay attention, arriving and departure dates / time are automatically taken from your itinerary plan. In order to change dates or time frame, you have to amend first your itinerary.
3. Click ‘Send Request’ and wait to the property response.
– Important: In case you have booked a campground, either online, by email or by phone, Do not forget to change status to ‘BOOKED’ and to write down your booking reference number
-To learn more about ‘Availability Request’ please see the next help section of: ‘How does the campground booking procedure works’?

How does the campground booking procedure works?

There are 3 different methods to book campgrounds or any other attractions:

A. Booking by sending a form & emails – most common
1. Select a campground or Attraction
2. Click the ‘Availability Request’ button
3. On the booking request form, read and verify all details are correct.
Pay attention, arriving and departure dates / time are automatically taken from your itinerary plan. In order to change dates or time frame, you have to amend first your itinerary.
3. Click ‘Send Request’ and wait to the property response.
4. Once you have send the availability request form, the status of the property will be automatically change to ‘In Process’
5. The property (e.g campground / RV park / Attraction) will get your email and they have to answer you within 48 hours.
6.The property should confirm or deny your request

B. Online bookings
1. Select a campground
2. Click ‘Book Now’ button
3. You will be navigate to the property online booking page – Complete your booking.
4. Change status to ‘BOOKED’

C. Online by the phone 1. Call the campground and confirm your booking
2. Change property status to ‘BOOKED’

– Once you have successfully completed your booking, go to the property section on your itinerary and fill out on your booking reference number and the total cost on the Booking details section.

What should I have to do when the campground has confirmed availability

If a campground or any attraction has confirmed he has availability for your request, the Status will change to ‘Available – Please contact’
Once you have got availability confirmation, you should contact, as soon as possible, with the campground in order to complete and confirm your booking.

Please bear in mind, availability may changed rapidly, sometimes even within a few minutes, especially during the high season. – Once you have successfully completed your booking, go to the property section on your itinerary and fill out on your booking reference number and the total cost on the Booking details section.

What’s happened if the campground has denied my request ( eg. No Availability / Fully booked)

In the unfortunate situation that the campground has denied your availability request, RvPlan.net system will send availability requests to 10 campgrounds around the near area.
You don’t have anything to do yet, just to wait for the answer for the alternatives campgrounds.
At the moment of one, or more campgrounds has confirmed availability, the status will be shift to See Alternatives’
You can immediately contact the alternative campground or you can wait for more options.
– During high season, we are strongly recommended to confirm your booking as soon as it possible

You will be notified about the existence of alternative options, both by RvPlan.net system – under the bell of notifications, and also by email directly to your inbox.

What should I do if I couldn’t book in advance any RV parks in the area I’m traveling?

Well, we could understand your concern
But there is no need to be so worried
First, it is important to know that many RV parks are not opened for advanced bookings on purpose. They are working under: First Came, First Serve’ method. Even those campground who receiving advanced bookings, many times the are opening only 25%-35% of their capacity for advance bookings. The rest of the parking lots are remain for First Come First Serv.

You have few options:
1. Wait for a later time and recheck availability – Availability is subject to Many factors, so you may find availability in a later date.
2. You can wait to the arrival date and call t the campground on the morning to book a parking spot.
3. you can search for availability in further campground and if they do have availability, change your itinerary accordingly.

How can I modify my trip name and my personal preferences?

Of course you can.
What do I need to know?
Many customers have more than one trip on the RvPlan.net system.
You can create the trip any name which you are finding it describing your trip the best.
For example, you can choose a name such as:’ across the US with the Trump family’ (:-))
As a default we are describing our system trips with the pickup and drop off city names, and a short description.

What do I need to do?
In order to amend a trip name to your personal trip description: 1. Place the cursor on the name field and tipe a new name.
2. You can modify your preferences such as party size, parking preference, type of vehicle and so on, by clicking on the gear icon You can modify the name as much as you want.
– Our recommendation is for best description of the trip name is to includes the the trip starting and ending cities, theme of the trip and season (e.g. Spring 2022 for example)

What does the Open / Close lock icon mean? How does it work?

What does the lock icon mean?
How does it work?

When the lock icon is orange and the lock is locked, it means that the time is locked on the timeline.
Any change made to the schedule, before or after a locked hour will not change it or affect it.
You can lock both the time of arrival and the time of departure whenever you want, so that this time is fixed and will not change even if the schedule before or after it has changed.
Fixing the time is especially important in two situations.
1. The first is when we have to get to a certain place at a set time – a performance for example, and we do not want to be late.
2. When you plan to leave the campground at 08:00 in the morning for example. If 08:00 is locked, and we reschedule the previous day, the time of departure from the campground will not change.

What do I need to know?
Pay attention, across all our pre planned itineraries, they are always set up with a lock time for them in the morning. Otherwise, if you reschedule your itinerary, you might get a cumulative delay or mistakes.
Please remember that a trip timeline is set as a long string, place by place, hour by hour.
Some road trippers are preferring long drives, sometimes even until late in the night, others are preferring a more relaxing schedule.
You can consider the night time as a buffering time for the previous day. Therefore, It is very important to keep the lock locked when you don’t want to be late.
Note: that the time change is at a 15-minute interval

What do I need to do?
If you want to amend a locked time, unlock it first, set a new time, and relock it.

I have delete an attraction by mistake, can I restore it?

Yes, of course.
What do I need to do?
Go to the redo undo icon and click redo or undo accordingly.

What do I need to know?
Redo / Undo have a limitation of 10 actions from your last modification?
Once you are logging out, redo/undo will be reset

What does the bell icon for?

The bell icon with a bedg with a number on it, if for your attention you still have unsolved issues on your trip plan.

What do I need to know?
You will find here system notifications about:
Configure your arrival and departure airports
Picking up and dropping off your rental motorhome
Notification you have got reply from a campground
General route errors

What do I need to do?
1. Click on the bell icon
2. Follow its notes
3. Fix the issue accordingly

How can I modify my trip name and my personal preferences?

I have messed up all my trip itinerary, I can’t make the head or tail of this, can I reset my trip?

Of course you do, we know it may happened 🙂
What do I need to know?
Resetting your itinerary will take you to the starting point, a fresh template just as it was when you purchased it in the first.
Please be aware that resetting your itinerary will delete all of your personal configurations, notes, scheduling, places you have replaced, campground bookings.

What do I need to do?
Before resetting we strongly recommend you, the following steps:
1. Try to reorder your itinerary, it will save you a lot of time
2. If you can’t reorder, first copy and paste your main important modifications and notes to3. To reset your itinerary, click on the Gear icon, and scroll down, you will find the ‘Reset my trip’ icon4. Click the ‘Reset my trip’ icon and your tip will reset.

Can I change attraction or activity type?

Sure, many places offer more than one activity in their place.
What do I need to know?
As we are focusing on the most common activities for Motorhome travellers, we have set place type according to it.
However in many places you can set the place type from a few options as you find it describing your activity in the best .

What do I need to do?
Click on the small dropdown arrow on the right side of the attraction icon and choose the is describing the best the activity you are planning to do there.
In case you are planning to do other activities in that place, which is not one of our proposals, you can write a note describing what you are intending to do in this place.

Can I amend my driving time?

What do I need to know?

The default route driving duration is calculated based on Google’s calculation.
You can extend it if you plan to travel slower, planning rest stops, refueling, eating or stop for observing along the way.
You can add a personal note to this road section such as “planned to stop at a gas station and have lunch there”.
Duration of the trip cannot be shortened to a minimum that Google has calculated the duration of the trip.

What do I need to do?
You can extend your driving duration simply by dragging the place along the timeline or by clicking on the edit pencil icon.

How can I add a hotel night to my trip plan?

How to select my RV Rental pickup location

How to add a 'things to do' to my bucket list

You can add places as you like, anytime, as many you want to your Motorhome trip. You have two options for adding places for your trip itinerary:
A. By clicking "Add Attraction"
1. Click on 'Add Attraction'
2. Select a place from List
3. Drag your chosen attraction to timeline

You will see all the popular places we know based on our experience that may interest you. Please note that by default all attractions in the area are listed. To search for a caravan park you must select the 'Caravan car park' filter, and then all the car parks in the area will also appear. Please pay attention, in order to add a new place to your trip, you must select a place box on the timeline, because the RvPlanet system is searching for available attractions within a certain radius from the place you are on it.

B. By search on google maps

1. on the left side of the search box, shift the toggle from RV to Google
2. Type the address or place name in the search box, just like you normally do on google.
3. Select your place from google autocomplete list
4. Drag the place in the timeline.

In case the place you are looking for is not listed, you can add it by searching Google Maps simply by moving the tag from search mode in RV PLANET to Google search. For your convenience, and the speed of the search, under the search box you will find quick search boxes for: address / caravan parks / gas stations / supermarkets. When you have located the desired place, adding the place to the timeline is done by dragging it to its correct position on the timeline. Immediately, the system will recalculate the route.

How to add 'Sub-Activity' into the place along the timeline

'Sub-Activity', is a name describing an Sub-Activity that is done within a time frame of another place we are staying at the same time .
For example - we arrived at the RV park where we camp from evening until the next morning. At a certain time, we go out to a restaurant, and after a great meal we return to the motorhome parking lot.
Adding an Sub-Activity into the timeline is simple just as adding a regular place.
In order to add Sub-Activity:
1. Select a place where you want to add Sub-Activity
2. Click the Action button
3. Click the 'Add Sub-Activity'
4. Select a place you want to add from list
5. Click on the 'Add Sub-Activity'

-You can also set the Sub-Activity time on the timeline by dragging the Sub-Activity slot along the main slot, and also extend or shorten the duration of the sub-Activity as needed.
-You can add some sub-activities as per your need.
-Note: When shortening the duration of the main Attraction, the total duration of the Sub-Activities - including the breaks between them, cannot exceed the duration of the main Sub-Activity.

How to replace 'Attractions' or 'Sub-Activity' on my trip

In case you want to replace one of the attractions along the route:
1. Click the 'Actions'  button
 2. Click on 'Replace'   
   3. Search the list of attractions available or type the attraction name on the search box.
4.Click 'Apply' 

- The new attraction will take place instead of the former one.- Please pay attention, in the case of this attraction is linked to a Sub-Activity, replacing the current attraction with an alternate attraction will NOT affect the Sub-Activity. Please verify schedule either travel distances, allow you to visit the Sub-Activity.
Please pay attention to the search radius. In case you didn't find a place you are looking for, it may be beyond the search radius.

How to remove 'Attractions' or 'Sub-Activity' from route

1. Click Action
2. select 'remove' ( Bin Icon)
3. Confirm Yes on validation popup screen

- You will always be able to reload this place again in the future using the 'Add Attraction'procedure
- In case you have delete an Attraction by mistake, use the Undo / redo arrows

How does the campground booking procedure works?

There are 3 different methods to book campgrounds or any other attractions:

A. Booking by sending a form & emails - most common
1. Select a campground or Attraction
2. Click the 'Availability Request' button
3. On the booking request form, read and verify all details are correct.

3. Click 'Send Request' and wait to the property response.
4. Once you have send the availability request form, the status of the property will be automatically change to 'In Process'
5. The property (e.g campground / RV park / Attraction) will get your email and they have to answer you within 48 hours.
6.The property should confirm or deny your request

B. Online bookings
1. Select a campground
2. Click 'Book Now' button
3. You will be navigate to the property online booking page - Complete your booking.
4. Change status to 'BOOKED'

C. Online by the phone 1. Call the campground and confirm your booking
2. Change property status to 'BOOKED'

- Once you have successfully completed your booking, go to the property section on your itinerary and fill out on your booking reference number and the total cost on the Booking details section.

What should I have to do when the campground has confirmed availability

If a campground or any attraction has confirmed he has availability for your request, the Status will change to 'Available - Please contact'
Once you have got availability confirmation, you should contact, as soon as possible, with the campground in order to complete and confirm your booking.

Please bear in mind, availability may changed rapidly, sometimes even within a few minutes, especially during the high season. - Once you have successfully completed your booking, go to the property section on your itinerary and fill out on your booking reference number and the total cost on the Booking details section.

What's happened if the campground has denied my request ( eg. No Availability / Fully booked)

In the unfortunate situation that the campground has denied your availability request, RvPlan.net system will send availability requests to 10 campgrounds around the near area.
You don't have anything to do yet, just to wait for the answer for the alternatives campgrounds.
At the moment of one, or more campgrounds has confirmed availability, the status will be shift to See Alternatives'
You can immediately contact the alternative campground or you can wait for more options.
- During high season, we are strongly recommended to confirm your booking as soon as it possible

You will be notified about the existence of alternative options, both by RvPlan.net system - under the bell of notifications, and also by email directly to your inbox.

What should I do if I couldn't book in advance any RV parks in the area I'm traveling?

Well, we could understand your concern
But there is no need to be so worried
First, it is important to know that many RV parks are not opened for advanced bookings on purpose. They are working under: First Came, First Serve' method. Even those campground who receiving advanced bookings, many times the are opening only 25%-35% of their capacity for advance bookings. The rest of the parking lots are remain for First Come First Serv.

You have few options:
1. Wait for a later time and recheck availability - Availability is subject to Many factors, so you may find availability in a later date.
2. You can wait to the arrival date and call t the campground on the morning to book a parking spot.
3. you can search for availability in further campground and if they do have availability, change your itinerary accordingly.

How to modify my schedule?

You can modify your time frame in 2 ways:
1. Drug the 6 points icon, located on each edge of attraction box in the timeline.:
2. By Clicking on the edit pencil icon and change time up or down. Save your changes by clicking on the green V symbol

What does the Open / Close lock icon mean? How does it work?

What does the lock icon mean?
How does it work?

When the lock icon is orange and the lock is locked, it means that the time is locked on the timeline.
Any change made to the schedule, before or after a locked hour will not change it or affect it.
You can lock both the time of arrival and the time of departure whenever you want, so that this time is fixed and will not change even if the schedule before or after it has changed.
Fixing the time is especially important in two situations.
1. The first is when we have to get to a certain place at a set time - a performance for example, and we do not want to be late.
2. When you plan to leave the campground at 08:00 in the morning for example. If 08:00 is locked, and we reschedule the previous day, the time of departure from the campground will not change.

What do I need to know?
Pay attention, across all our pre planned itineraries, they are always set up with a lock time for them in the morning. Otherwise, if you reschedule your itinerary, you might get a cumulative delay or mistakes.
Please remember that a trip timeline is set as a long string, place by place, hour by hour.
Some road trippers are preferring long drives, sometimes even until late in the night, others are preferring a more relaxing schedule.
You can consider the night time as a buffering time for the previous day. Therefore, It is very important to keep the lock locked when you don't want to be late.
Note: that the time change is at a 15-minute interval

What do I need to do?
If you want to amend a locked time, unlock it first, set a new time, and relock it.

I have delete an attraction by mistake, can I restore it?

Yes, of course.
What do I need to do?
Go to the redo undo icon and click redo or undo accordingly.

What do I need to know?
Redo / Undo have a limitation of 10 actions from your last modification?
Once you are logging out, redo/undo will be reset

What does the bell icon for?

The bell icon with a bedg with a number on it, if for your attention you still have unsolved issues on your trip plan.

What do I need to know?
You will find here system notifications about:
Configure your arrival and departure airports
Picking up and dropping off your rental motorhome
Notification you have got reply from a campground
General route errors

What do I need to do?
1. Click on the bell icon
2. Follow its notes
3. Fix the issue accordingly

How can I modify my trip name and my personal preferences?

Of course you can.
What do I need to know?
Many customers have more than one trip on the RvPlan.net system.
You can create the trip any name which you are finding it describing your trip the best.
For example, you can choose a name such as:' across the US with the Trump family' (:-))
As a default we are describing our system trips with the pickup and drop off city names, and a short description.

What do I need to do?
In order to amend a trip name to your personal trip description: 1. Place the cursor on the name field and tipe a new name.
2. You can modify your preferences such as party size, parking preference, type of vehicle and so on, by clicking on the gear icon You can modify the name as much as you want.
- Our recommendation is for best description of the trip name is to includes the the trip starting and ending cities, theme of the trip and season (e.g. Spring 2022 for example)

I have messed up all my trip itinerary, I can't make the head or tail of this, can I reset my trip?

Of course you do, we know it may happened 🙂
What do I need to know?
Resetting your itinerary will take you to the starting point, a fresh template just as it was when you purchased it in the first.
Please be aware that resetting your itinerary will delete all of your personal configurations, notes, scheduling, places you have replaced, campground bookings.

What do I need to do?
Before resetting we strongly recommend you, the following steps:
1. Try to reorder your itinerary, it will save you a lot of time
2. If you can't reorder, first copy and paste your main important modifications and notes to3. To reset your itinerary, click on the Gear icon, and scroll down, you will find the 'Reset my trip' icon4. Click the 'Reset my trip' icon and your tip will reset.

Can I change attraction or activity type?

Sure, many places offer more than one activity in their place.
What do I need to know?
As we are focusing on the most common activities for Motorhome travellers, we have set place type according to it.
However in many places you can set the place type from a few options as you find it describing your activity in the best .

What do I need to do?
Click on the small dropdown arrow on the right side of the attraction icon and choose the is describing the best the activity you are planning to do there.
In case you are planning to do other activities in that place, which is not one of our proposals, you can write a note describing what you are intending to do in this place.

Can I amend my driving time?

What do I need to know?

The default route driving duration is calculated based on Google's calculation.
You can extend it if you plan to travel slower, planning rest stops, refueling, eating or stop for observing along the way.
You can add a personal note to this road section such as "planned to stop at a gas station and have lunch there".
Duration of the trip cannot be shortened to a minimum that Google has calculated the duration of the trip.

What do I need to do?
You can extend your driving duration simply by dragging the place along the timeline or by clicking on the edit pencil icon.

How can I add a hotel night to my trip plan?

It is quite easy

How to add a personal Note for a road or on Attractions

On each Attraction,  Sub-Activity, or a road section, you can add or modify your personal note. 
1. Click on the envelope icon and type your notes.

In order to add / modify notes just place your cursor in the correct place and type your note.  

We recommend you to write notes such as:
- A person's name you have talked regarding your reservation on this place
- Interesting information you have collected on the web regarding this Attraction.
- Tours starting / ending time
- A person's name you have met and become a friend in this place
- Any information you find helpful (even: 'we will stop here for 1 hour for rest....')

Many attractions on our system has preload  'Author's note' which means we have placed a note for you including important recommendations, instructions or suggestions. 
-If a note is already preloaded then the envelope icon will not appear, but you can still add and edit your personal memos.
You can also delete the 'Author's note' but please be cautious!, once you have deleted a note the only way to restore it is to reset your trip to it's starting position. We are strongly recommended, before you are deleting a note, copy it to your clipboard, just in case you would like to reuse it.
