Our journey from Melbourne to Brisbane in a rented motorhome was nothing short of an Australian coastal adventure. We started in Melbourne, filled with excitement as we planned our route and loaded our RV with essentials. Our first stop was the charming Mansfield Zoo, where the kids were thrilled to see and feed the variety of animals.
As we continued our journey, we visited the Kiewa Valley Historical Society. It was a step back in time, and we learned so much about the local history. Our next highlight was the breathtaking Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk. Walking high above the forest floor gave us spectacular views of the surrounding landscape, and the kids loved the sense of adventure.
In Sydney, the SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium was an absolute must-see. The underwater tunnels and diverse marine life captivated us for hours. Moving north, we made a stop at the Koala Hospital. It was a touching experience, and we learned a lot about these adorable creatures and the efforts being made to protect them.
We couldn't pass up the chance to visit The Big Oyster Seafood & Cafe. The fresh seafood was a delightful treat. Continuing our journey, we had a blast at The Big Banana Fun Park in Coffs Harbour. The rides, attractions, and of course, the famous banana splits were a hit with everyone.
As we neared the end of our journey, we visited the Mt Coot-tha Summit Lookout in Brisbane. The panoramic views of the city were a perfect ending to our road trip. Standing there, we felt a sense of accomplishment and excitement for the adventures that lay ahead.
