RV, camper and motorhome trip planning toolbox – The best ever created
Our 10-day motorhome road trip from Nashville to Minneapolis was filled with exciting destinations and breathtaking scenery. We kicked off our journey by visiting the iconic BB King's Blues Club in Nashville, where we enjoyed some soulful music and delicious food. Next, we stopped at the Dunbar Cave Visitor Center to explore the beautiful underground cave system and learn about its fascinating history.
As we made our way north, we were awed by the majestic rock formations at Garden of the Gods in Illinois, and then immersed ourselves in the history of Saline County at the Saline County Area Museum. In St. Louis, we visited the Gateway Arch National Park, which offered stunning views of the city and Mississippi River.
Our next stop was Hannibal, Missouri, where we stepped back in time at the Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum and learned about the life and work of this legendary author. We continued on to Nauvoo, Illinois, where we visited the Nauvoo Visitors Center to learn about the early Mormon settlers.
In Davenport, Iowa, we explored the fascinating exhibits at the Putnam Museum and Science Center, and then boarded the Riverboat Twilight for a scenic cruise on the Mississippi River. The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium in Dubuque was a highlight of our trip, where we learned about the diverse wildlife and rich history of this iconic river.
After stopping for a refreshing beer at the Potosi Brewery in Wisconsin, we continued on to the Minnesota Marine Art Museum, where we admired stunning works of art inspired by the sea. The National Eagle Center in Wabasha was a unique and memorable experience, where we learned about these majestic birds and even got to meet a few up close.
Finally, we made our way to the famous Mall of America in Minneapolis, where we shopped, dined, and had a blast at the amusement park and aquarium. Throughout our journey, we enjoyed visiting local farmers' markets and trying regional specialties, and we highly recommend doing the same on your own motorhome adventure.
