As we packed up our motorhome and set out on our 17-day road trip from New Orleans to Denver, we knew we were in for an adventure. The first stop on our journey was the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans, where we were awed by the array of marine life on display. From there, we made our way to the New Orleans Jazz Museum, where we learned about the city's rich musical history.

As we continued on our journey, we made sure to take in the beauty of the Louisiana swamps with a tour from Champagne's Cajun Swamp Tours and stopped for some delicious Cajun cuisine at Bon Temps Grill. We also explored LARC's Acadian Village, which gave us a glimpse into life in the Acadiana region of Louisiana.

Next up, we visited Space Center Houston, where we learned about NASA's missions and even got to see a real spacecraft. We also enjoyed a visit to the Dr Pepper Museum & Free Enterprise Institute in Waco, Texas, where we learned about the history of this iconic soft drink.

As we made our way through Texas, we took a break from driving to go horseback riding at Brazos Bluffs Ranch and had a blast climbing and ziplining at Trinity Forest Adventure Park. We also made a stop at the Fort Worth Zoo, where we saw a wide variety of animals and enjoyed some family-friendly attractions.

In Amarillo, Texas, we cooled off at Castaway Cove Waterpark and explored the nearby Lighthouse Trailhead. We also made a point to stop at The Big Texan Steak Ranch & Brewery, where we tried the famous 72-ounce steak challenge.

As we crossed into New Mexico, we were struck by the stunning beauty of the landscape. We took the Sandia Peak Tramway to the top of the Sandia Mountains and explored the Ice Cave and Bandera Volcano. We also visited the Zuni Visitor Center and saw the impressive Meteor Crater Natural Landmark.

Our next stop was the Bearizona Wildlife Park in Arizona, where we saw a variety of animals and even got to drive through the park's bear enclosure. We also visited the Grand Canyon Visitor Center and took in the breathtaking views of the canyon from Desert View Watchtower and the Trail of Time.

We continued on to Monument Valley Safari, where we took a guided tour of the iconic red rock formations. We also visited the Canyon Country Discovery Center and hiked to Delicate Arch in Arches National Park.

Our final stops on the trip were in Colorado, where we visited the Denver Botanic Gardens and toured the Argo Gold Mill and Tunnel. We also made sure to do some shopping at the Denver Premium Outlets before heading home.

Overall, our 17-day motorhome road trip from New Orleans to Denver was an unforgettable adventure filled with natural beauty, history, and family-friendly fun. We can't wait to plan our next road trip adventure!
