Starting in Perth, we couldn't resist diving into the underwater world at AQWA – The Aquarium of Western Australia, where marine life from the Indian Ocean mesmerizes visitors of all ages. Heading south, the Jewel Cave and Granite Skywalk at Castle Rock introduced us to Western Australia’s rugged beauty, complete with fascinating caves and awe-inspiring panoramic views. The Nullarbor Plain, with its endless horizons and vast emptiness, is a true Australian road trip experience. Stopping at the Murrawijinie Caves was an extraordinary way to break up the drive and discover ancient natural wonders hidden beneath the desert. As we reached Ceduna, the Arts Ceduna gallery and the famous Ceduna Oyster Barn added a cultural and culinary twist to the journey, giving us a taste of the region's seafood and creativity.

Crossing into South Australia, the Woomera History Museum offered a fascinating insight into Australia’s role in space exploration and military history. As the landscape transformed into the striking reds of the outback, we arrived at Umoona Opal Mine & Museum in Coober Pedy, where the underground mining town amazed the whole family. The iconic Uluru region was a standout highlight of this journey. The tropical charm of the Millaa Millaa Waterfall offered the perfect family photo op and a refreshing stop. Finally, the journey ended on a high note with the breathtaking Skyrail Rainforest Cableway in Cairns, where the views over the rainforest canopy and Coral Sea left us speechless.
