Embarking on a 22-day motorhome adventure through Sweden, starting and ending in the vibrant capital of Stockholm, offers a delightful mix of natural beauty, historical landmarks, and family-friendly attractions. With our rented RV ready, we set out to explore Sweden’s inland heartland and its stunning coastline, weaving through scenic landscapes and cultural gems that make for a perfect road trip.

Our journey begins with the wild wonders of Kolmården Zoo, a fantastic stop for families to experience wildlife up close. From there, we dive into Sweden’s rich history at the Air Force Museum and stroll through the charming Gamla Linköping Open Air Museum, where the past comes alive.

For those fascinated by Swedish craftsmanship, a visit to the Kosta Glascenter is a must. Witnessing glassblowing artisans at work is a mesmerizing experience for both adults and children. As we continue our route, the Øresund Bridge leads us to new adventures in Denmark, where Planetarium in Copenhagen and Camp Adventure promise thrills and educational experiences.

A quick hop takes us to Odense Zoo and the ever-popular LEGOLAND® Billund Resort, two must-visit spots for families. The excitement doesn’t end there as we explore the depths of Mønsted Kalkgruber, the world’s largest limestone mine, and marvel at marine life at The North Sea Oceanarium.

Our campervan then navigates through Norway’s breathtaking landscapes. Mountain Cart at Sirdal Sommerpark and the epic views from Preikestolen Parking provide adventure and awe-inspiring vistas. We continue to the stunning Langfossen Waterfall and the lively Fishmarket in Bergen, immersing ourselves in Norway’s natural splendor and culinary delights.

On our return to Sweden, Vippa offers a vibrant food market experience in Oslo, perfect for sampling diverse cuisines. Our route takes us to the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology before heading back into Sweden, where nature enthusiasts can unwind at Värmlands Moose Park.

The final leg of our journey leads us to the historic Örebro Castle, the bustling Vårbergs Flea Market, and the regal The Royal Armoury. No trip to Sweden would be complete without a visit to Skansen - Open Air Museum, where Swedish traditions and wildlife converge, offering a perfect conclusion to our road trip.
