Starting in Washington DC, the trip will take you through the stunning Shenandoah National Park, where you can explore the Mary's Rock / Thornton Gap Entrance Station, Luray Caverns, Stony Man Mountain Overlook, Dark Hollow Falls Trailhead, and Rockfish Gap Entrance Station.

Continuing south, you can visit the Virginia Safari Park and Natural Bridge State Park - Appalachian Trail, where you can take in the beautiful scenery while hiking or biking.

As you head west, make sure to stop by Abingdon Vineyards and enjoy some local wine before heading to Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The amusement park has rides and attractions for all ages and is a must-visit for families.
