Starting from Washington DC, you'll first visit the Mary's Rock / Thornton Gap Entrance Station, followed by Luray Caverns and Stony Man Mountain Overlook. Continuing through Shenandoah National Park, you'll stop at the Dark Hollow Falls Trailhead and Rockfish Gap Entrance Station.

In Virginia, make sure to visit the Virginia Safari Park, where you can drive through and see various animals in their natural habitat. Also in Virginia, you can hike the Appalachian Trail at Natural Bridge State Park and rent bikes at The Bike Station. For some wine tasting, head to Abingdon Vineyards.

Next, you'll make your way to Nashville, Tennessee, where you can explore the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, visit the Nashville Farmers' Market, and catch a show at the Opry Mills.

Continuing on, you'll visit Cedar Falls Trailhead in Arkansas before arriving at Frontier City and the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma. For some underwater adventure, visit the Blue Zoo Aquarium in Oklahoma City.

As you enter New Mexico, make sure to stop at Foss State Park and the Route 66 Auto Museum. You can also ride the Sandia Peak Tramway, visit the Petroglyph National Monument Visitor Center, and explore the Sky City Cultural Center & Haak'u Museum.

In Arizona, stop by the New Mexico Mining Museum and the Meteor Crater Natural Landmark before arriving at Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course and the Grand Canyon Visitor Center. Make sure to watch the Trail of Time and the Grand Canyon IMAX Theater before continuing on to Slide Rock State Park and Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village.

Finally, end your trip in Phoenix, where you can enjoy the Desert Botanical Garden and shop at Tanger Outlets.
