Embarking on a 14-day RV motorhome road trip from Whitehorse to Calgary was a thrilling adventure, filled with stunning landscapes and family-friendly activities.

Our journey began in Whitehorse, where we kicked off with EPIC NORTH Tour Experiences. The kids were enthralled by the guided tours and interactive exhibits, which provided a captivating introduction to the Yukon’s wilderness and history.

Driving south, we arrived at Muncho Lake Provincial Park, where the crystal-clear, turquoise waters left us all in awe. The scenic beauty was perfect for family photos and a refreshing swim.

Continuing our journey, we stopped at the Walter Wright Pioneer Village in Dawson Creek. The village gave us a glimpse into the pioneer life, and the kids enjoyed exploring the historical buildings and artifacts.

As we made our way through Alberta, the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum in Grande Prairie was a must-visit. The museum’s impressive dinosaur exhibits and interactive displays were a hit with the whole family, sparking our imagination about prehistoric times.

In Jasper, we decided to enjoy the Jasper Riding Stables. The horseback riding tours offered a unique way to experience the breathtaking landscapes of the Canadian Rockies. The kids loved the gentle horses and the guided trail rides through the scenic terrain.

The journey through the Canadian Rockies was nothing short of spectacular. Each turn revealed more stunning vistas and opportunities for outdoor adventures. We eventually arrived in Banff, where we explored the charming town and took in the majestic mountain views.

Our final stop was Calgary, where we visited Calaway Park. This family-friendly amusement park was the perfect way to end our trip, with exciting rides and attractions that kept the kids entertained for hours.

Throughout our journey, our RV route planner was indispensable. Road trip planning was essential, so we made sure to plan for frequent stops, pack plenty of snacks, and keep an itinerary handy. This approach helped us make the most of our adventure while keeping the trip fun and stress-free for everyone.
