Setting off on a 15-day RV motorhome road trip from Whitehorse to Kelowna was a journey packed with breathtaking landscapes, thrilling activities, and countless family memories.

We began our adventure in Whitehorse with the EPIC NORTH Tour Experiences, where the kids were captivated by interactive exhibits and we all marveled at the stunning wilderness that the Yukon has to offer. The guided tours were the perfect start, offering a deep dive into the region’s rich history and natural beauty.

Heading south, Muncho Lake Provincial Park greeted us with its crystal-clear, turquoise waters, a perfect spot for a family picnic and a refreshing swim. The serene surroundings and picturesque views made it an unforgettable stop.

Continuing our journey, we arrived at Walter Wright Pioneer Village in Dawson Creek. This village provided a fascinating glimpse into pioneer life, with the kids exploring historical buildings and learning about early settler life through engaging exhibits.

Next, we visited the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum in Grande Prairie. The museum’s impressive dinosaur exhibits and interactive displays were a hit with the whole family, sparking imaginations and teaching us about prehistoric times.

In Jasper, the Jasper Riding Stables offered an adventurous twist. Horseback riding through the breathtaking landscapes of the Canadian Rockies was a unique experience, with the kids enjoying the gentle horses and scenic trails.

As we traveled through the majestic Canadian Rockies, every turn offered stunning vistas and outdoor activities. Banff was a highlight, with its charming town and awe-inspiring mountain views, providing the perfect backdrop for family photos and exploration.

Arriving in Calgary, we spent an exciting day at Calaway Park, where the kids were thrilled by the amusement park rides and attractions. It was a perfect family-friendly spot that provided endless fun and laughter.

Our final destination was Kelowna, a beautiful city known for its wineries and stunning lakes. The vibrant atmosphere and warm weather were the perfect end to our epic road trip.

Throughout our journey, our RV route planner was essential in ensuring smooth travel. Road trip planning was crucial, so we made sure to plan for frequent stops, pack plenty of snacks, and keep an itinerary handy. This approach helped us make the most of our adventure while keeping the trip fun and stress-free for everyone.
